I began baking in March 2011 when, a little strapped for cash, I designed and made my friend a birthday cake as a gift. Surprisingly impressed with my handiwork, I posted a photo to my facebook profile. Following this I received a few requests from friends and family members to create their own designs for them ... and so VJ Cakes was born!

Although I've never received any training, baking is and always has been my passion, as is cake decorating. I have an extremely high standard of work and am somewhat of a perfectionist.

I can work with the majority of materials when it comes to cake-making and offer a variety of flavours, fillings and decorating techniques. 

I specialize in children's celebration cakes but am able to fulfill any other requests also.

I'm happy to take any order but unfortunately cannot offer gluten/dairy-free as my limited working space would present too high a risk of allergen contamination. 

I offer a local delivery service at an additional cost.
